I’ve been surprised at how much of a “drinking town” San Francisco is. I think Bourdain(another east coaster) perfectly nailed my idea of what San Francisco was and is.

I have a theory.....
Irish bars only play Irish music to either
1) see who the first customer is to kill someone.
2) burst into tears with ears bleeding
3) get people to get up and pay for the jukebox
4) make people want the pain in their ears to go away and fast so they drink more.
Genius I tell you.
